Away for Trello

Privacy policy

Effective: July 17, 2026

Summary

Away for Trello is a static, open-source Power-Up. Shockworld does not operate a backend for it and does not collect, transmit, sell, or analyze your Power-Up configuration.

Data stored

The Power-Up lets a board member enter a name, availability status, dates, message, alternative contact, and language preference. This information is stored using Trello's shared board-level Power-Up storage.

Who can see it

Shared board data may be available to anyone who can view the Trello board. If a board is public, its notice data may also be public. Do not enter passwords, access tokens, private medical information, or other sensitive personal data.

Third parties

The Power-Up is served by GitHub Pages and loads Trello's official Power-Up client library. Their processing is governed by their respective privacy policies. Away for Trello includes no analytics, advertising, cookies, or third-party trackers of its own.

Retention and deletion

You can disable a notice in the settings. Board administrators can also remove the Power-Up and choose whether Trello should delete its stored data. Shockworld cannot access or delete board data on your behalf because it is not copied to a Shockworld system.

Changes

Material changes will be published on this page and in the public source repository.

Contact

For privacy questions, open a GitHub issue without including personal or board information. For security-sensitive matters, use the repository's private security advisory feature.
